The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Metro Orlando will welcome Centura Institute into the family with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony to be held Thursday, July 30, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Students, alumni and locals alike are invited to witness Centura Institute’s proud induction into the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Metro Orlando with refreshments to follow. Guests are also encouraged to take a campus tour and see how Centura trains the workforce of tomorrow.
“Our whole goal at Centura Institute is connecting communities and careers. We want to not just exist in a community, but to be a part of it. This induction into the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Metro Orlando is such an honor and means that we are on the right path,” said Paulette Thomas, Centura Institute’s director.

Centura College’s Cruisin’ Career Fair and Open House kicks off Wednesday, July 29, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., encouraging students, alumni and locals alike to cruise into a new career. Participating employers will be hiring for both entry-level and management positions. Attendance is free, but guests are required to arrive in business attire with résumés in hand.
Other activities will include campus tours, meet and greets with admissions representatives, and the opportunity to win a dinner cruise for two. Career coaching and résumé workshops are available upon reservation and can be scheduled by calling 757-549-2121.
