Centura College Norfolk is pleased to announce the opening of our new Veteran Center. It is our goal to be the most veteran friendly and empowering campus in our region by providing excellent service to our students. Our focus is to provide a variety of services that ease the transition from military service to campus life, develop and foster a community culture of past, present and future veterans, and continue to drive awareness of veterans issues, service and benefits. Centura College Named a 2104 Military Friendly School

The 2014 list of Military Friendly Schools is posted and Centura College made the list!  Making the list of Military Friendly schools is an important achievement that we are very proud of.  It confirms that Centura College works hard to make sure our active duty and veteran students feel at home on campus and that they have a host of services available to them through a full time, dedicated Veteran and Active Duty Student Representative staff member.

The list of military friendly schools was compiled through extensive research and a data-driven survey of more than 10,000, VA Approved Schools throughout the United States.  The survey results were independently tested by Ernst & Young LLP and based upon the weightings and methodology established by Victory Media.  Each year, schools taking the survey are held to a higher standard than the previous year via improved methodology, criteria and weightings developed with the assistance of an Academic Advisory Board (AAB) consisting of educators from schools across the country. …Read More Here
