Your training will prepare you for these responsibilities and more.

Centura?s Business programs offer two degree levels and several concentrations, so you can choose the area best suited for you to focus your studies and build your career.

MANAGEMENT

Associate of Applied Science Degree in Business with a Management Concentration
Developing your core management skills, business language, problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical and research skills means your possibilities are not limited to any one business field. After graduation, you may find an entry-level position like office manager, general or operations manager, customer service manager or executive assistant.

Bachelor of Science Degree in Business with a Management Concentration
This is a degree completion program designed for those who have completed an associate degree in business or a related professional degree but do not yet possess a bachelor?s degree. The management concentration focuses on areas such as project management, finance and office software used to manage businesses.

ACCOUNTING

Associate of Applied Science Degree in Business with an Accounting Administration Concentration
If you have a knack for numbers and strong organizational skills, studying accounting can prepare you to become an entry-level professional with the business skills, management techniques, and administrative practices needed in an accounting and bookkeeping environment. Every business relies on accounting on some level to keep the business functional, and you could take your newfound skills just about anywhere. Upon graduation, you will be qualified for positions such as an accounting clerk, payroll clerk, accounts receivable or accounts payable assistant.

Bachelor of Science Degree in Business with an Accounting Concentration
This is a degree completion program. Students who have already completed their associate degrees in business, accounting or other related professional field, can turn their associate degrees into bachelor degrees at Centura. The accounting concentration teaches further skills in areas like managerial accounting, auditing and taxation, which may allow you to advance your career at your current employer or other companies.

WEB DEVELOPMENT

Associate of Applied Science Degree in Business with a Web Development Concentration
Preparing yourself for a career in web development can give you the opportunity to work with cutting edge technology. Your training will include learning many of the industry-accepted software packages and programming languages. At the same time, you will gain a solid business foundation, network basics and site design fundamentals.

HOSPITALITY

Bachelor of Science Degree in Business with a Hospitality Concentration
This is a degree completion program for people who already have an associate degree in business or other related professional degree. This concentration builds skills in the areas of food and beverage operations, lodging management, event planning and hospitality trends and issues.

HEALTH CARE

Bachelor of Science Degree in Business with an Allied Health Management Concentration
This is a degree completion program designed for individuals with an associate degree in business or other related professional degree. The training gives you the opportunity to turn your associate degree into a bachelor?s. The allied health management concentration provides a strong core of leadership, technology, finance, community health and medical office team management courses. This training is designed to help healthcare professionals manage, direct and coordinate medical offices and other allied health facilities.
