Network Technician
The computer network technician program provides you with the essential training and skills necessary to take your place within the corporate network environment. The curriculum is market-driven and based on the need of the business community. Your network training combines informative classroom lectures with extensive hands-on training from the component level up in the computer-networking laboratory.
Early in the program, you will even build your own complete personal computer that will provide you with the perfect learning tool for the remainder of the program to use in your home. You will also learn how to use and troubleshoot application software.
As a student in this program, you will learn computer components including their repair and preventative maintenance as well as their function within a network. Training in career development near the end of the program gives you the skills you need to find the important initial network and computer repair position.
