Hampton Roads Teacher Wins $500 for her Classroom from Centura College
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (June 8, 2015) – Centura College showed their support during Teacher Appreciation Week, May 4 through May 8, by giving Hampton Roads teachers a chance to win $500 in 
classroom funds. On June 1, Katelyn Hunt, a third year kindergarten teacher at Woodstock Elementary in Virginia Beach, received the giant $500 check, presented by Ashley West, the campus director of Centura College Chesapeake, and Millie Davis, the director of education at Centura College Chesapeake, as well as a gift bag featuring a free massage and more.
“The teaching community’s commitment to changing lives is absolutely inspiring! These individuals spend every day shaping our country’s tomorrow and we wanted to help them with that noble mission,” said West.
